PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication apparatus to which a telephone set of a different specification is connectable and which improves a degree of freedom by increasing options for a user and is capable of improving user friendliness.SOLUTION: An image communication apparatus 101 which performs a voice communication using an IP telephone and an IP-FAX communication according to T.38 of the ITU-T recommendations includes: an interface connector 38 connectable to a telephone control device 22 including an SLIC 8 or a telephone control device 23 including a PCM circuit 20; and a controller 2 which controls a speech conversation operation of a telephone set 12 connected to the SLIC 8 via the interface connector 38 and controls a telephone conversation operation of a handset 21 connected to the PCM circuit 20 via the interface connector 38. |
