PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin screw extruder configured to efficiently remove foreign matters contained in a material while utilizing advantages of the twin screw extruder with high productivity.SOLUTION: A screen plate 32 is disposed at a material discharge port 12a of a twin screw extruder so that the screen plate 32 is slidable along the material discharge port 12a by a slide mechanism 39. A mesh screen 34 is attachably and detachably attached to the screen plate 32. Cutting edges 37a and 37b to cut a material extruded from the material discharge port 12a, and a material discharge part 38 to discharge the material cut by the cutting edges 37a and 37b are disposed on the screen plate 32. |
