PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized shearing device that can suppress burr from being generated on a sheared surface of a sheared material and start to shear the vicinity of a part where a cutting edge of a first blade starts to cross a cutting edge of a second blade as a starting point of the sheared material.SOLUTION: The shearing device is configured to shear a sheared material 3 to a width between one end sides and the other end sides of an upper blade 1 and a lower blade 2 by crossing obliquely the upper blade 1 as a first blade with the lower blade 2 as a second blade. In the upper blade 1, a protruding part 1b having a chamfer part 1a at a tip part of a side at which the upper blade contacts the lower blade 2 is formed at a part where the upper blade starts to cross the lower blade 2, and an initial set value of a clearance between a sliding surface 1s of the upper blade 1 and a sliding surface 2s of the lower blade 2 is set to be less than 0. |
