PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable touch input while improving operability in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: The input device for a vehicle, which is premised on input operation by an operator boarding on a vehicle, comprises a rotating body 60, a rotating sensor 62 and a positioning sensor 61. The rotating body 60 can be rotated around a virtual shaft extending horizontally by a fingertip of the operator and the finger of the operator can contact a plurality of positions in the virtual shaft direction of a slide-operation surface 60a (an outer peripheral surface). The rotating sensor 62 detects amounts of rotation of the rotating body 60. The positioning sensor 61 detects positions that the finger contacts in the virtual direction of the slide-operation surface 60a of the rotating body 60. |
