Provided are an information providing method and device, the method comprising: recording the available information related to a user task in all applications associated with the user task into a panoramic view in the form of an information card according to a time sequence, the panoramic view sequentially recording all available user activities performed by a user to complete the user task; clearly displaying the information recorded in the panoramic view to the user via the same user interface, so that the user can complete the user task in one panoramic view without or almost without repeatedly switching between a plurality of applications, thus being intuitive and convenient, and improving work efficiency; in addition, the panoramic view records the information important to the user such as the association between the items of information, the operations performed by the user to complete the user task, and the detailed time sequence of outputting results, thus avoiding information loss. |
