PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous determination of high-rate deterioration when estimating the high-rate deterioration of a lithium secondary battery on the basis of a surface pressure change of a battery cell.SOLUTION: A state estimation device 200 includes: a surface pressure acquisition section 210 for acquiring a surface pressure of a battery cell 110 of a lithium secondary battery (secondary battery 100); and a control section 240 configured to control a residual capacitance (SOC) of the lithium secondary battery (secondary battery 100) and estimates a deterioration state of the lithium secondary battery (secondary battery 100) on the basis of the surface pressure acquired by the surface pressure acquisition section 210, a discharge current and the SOC of the lithium secondary battery (secondary battery 100). When estimating the deterioration state, in the case where the SOC is equal to or more than a predetermined value, the control section 240 controls the SOC in such a manner that the SOC becomes less than the predetermined value. |
