PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens delivery system with a disposable plunger segment and a method of use therefor.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an intraocular lens delivery device that includes a disposable plunger tip segment 20 that can be attached to and removed from a reusable plunger base part 22. A system can include either or both of: an opening at a distal end of a cartridge having a maximum internal diameter that is less than 4 millimeters; and/or a soft push tip that is overmolded onto an elongated body at a distal end of the elongated body. |
