PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exposure of a heater to the outside, when performing purge work.SOLUTION: An injection molding machine comprises: a heating cylinder 2; an injection nozzle 1; a front part heater 3 attached to an outer peripheral front side part of the heating cylinder 2; a heater cover 4 for covering a rear part of the heating cylinder 2 disposed on a rear side of the front part heater 3, and a rear part heater 12 attached to the rear part of the heating cylinder 2; and a purge cover for preventing scattering of molten resin which is discharged from the injection nozzle 1 when performing purge work. The purge cover comprises a first purge cover 7 and a second purge cover 8 disposed so as to slide freely on the first purge cover 7. When performing the purge work, the first purge cover 7 covers the injection nozzle 1 so that it is not exposed, and the first purge cover 7 and second purge cover 8 cover the front part of the heating cylinder 2, and the front part heater 3 attached to the front part of the heating cylinder so that they are not exposed. |
