1: An ester compound of formula I: wherein: R1 is a carbon chain having 7 to 25 carbon atoms, and the carbon chain R1 has at least one sulfone group, and R2 is a linear or branched radical having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and wherein the sulfur atom in the sulfone group is bonded directly to a carbon atom in the carbon chain R1, and the carbon atom to which the sulfone group is directly bonded is not the carbon atom furthest removed from the C═O group, and where the sulfone group has the following structure: where R3 is an aliphatic radical having 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
