[Problem] To provide a thickening composition that does not lose viscosity even in the presence of organic acids such as ascorbic acid and salts thereof. [Solution] A thickening composition containing a polyhydric alcohol, water, and organic acid and a lipid peptide-type compound comprising at least one among compounds represented by formulas (1) to (3) or pharmacologically usable salts thereof. (In the formula, R1 represents an aliphatic group having from 9 to 23 carbon atoms; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms optionally having a branched chain of 1 or 2 carbon atoms; and R3 represents a –(CH2)n-X group, where n represents a number from 1 to 4, and X represents an amino group, guanidino group, -CONH2 group, or a fused heterocycle configured of a 5-membered ring or 6-membered ring optionally having from 1 to 3 nitrogen atoms, or of a 5-membered ring and a 6-membered ring.) |
