<p>The present invention relates to a tyre for a vehicle for agricultural use, and more particularly to the tread thereof, and seeks to improve the compromise between wear resistance, more particularly resistance to wear located in the vicinity of the trailing edges of the lugs, and resistance to mechanical attack, more particularly attack located at the leading faces of the lugs. According to the invention, each lug (3) comprises a connecting portion (31), running at right angles to the connecting surface (9) at which the leading face (7) connects with the base surface (5) over a thickness E1 at least equal to 0.05 times the circumferential lug thickness E, the connecting portion (31) being made of a first elastomeric compound and a lug portion (32), consisting of the lug (3) and excluding the connecting portion (31), comprises a second elastomeric compound different from the first elastomeric compound.</p> |
