The method for converting an audio signal comprises the steps of: determining an input audio format by analyzing an input audio signal; determining an output speaker format based on a position of speakers; determining a sweet spot by estimating a position of a user; and converting the input audio signal according to the output speaker format to perform an optimized sound in the sweet spot.
