<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure favorable brake feeling and regenerative energy even if a change occurs in the clearance between a brake pad and a rotor during a cooperative regenerative braking control. <P>SOLUTION: This brake control device of a hybrid vehicle includes a master cylinder, wheel cylinders, a VDC brake fluid pressure unit, a motor controller, and an integrated controller. During brake operation, the integrated controller performs a cooperative regenerative braking control in which a target deceleration is achieved by a basic fluid pressure amount and an additional braking amount (regeneration amount and pressurization amount). When the estimated clearance amount between the brake pad and the rotor changes relative to a design clearance amount, target deceleration characteristics are set according to the amount of change of the clearance from the design value so that the target deceleration at an actual MC pressure generating point is equal to the maximum value of the additional braking amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
