Disclosed is a solenoid valve for a brake system. The solenoid valve for a brake system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a valve housing which is installed in a bore of a modulator block and includes an internal flow path; a valve core placed on one end of the valve housing; a valve sheet which is placed on the other end of the valve housing and has an orifice; an armature which is linearly slid by the valve core and includes a ball capable of selectively opening and closing the orifice; a sleeve which accommodates the valve core and the valve housing and is fixated to the bore; and a returning spring to give elastic restoring force to the armature to open the orifice. The armature includes a placing groove unit to fixate and install the ball onto the end. The placing groove unit comprises: an accommodating groove to accommodate a part of the ball; and a leading end protrusion to support the outer side of the ball by separately protruding from the inner side of the accommodating groove. |
