PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid secondary battery having a high capacity and achieving high output, and a method for manufacturing such a solid secondary battery.SOLUTION: A solid secondary battery 1 comprises: a first active material layer 12 having pits 12H formed in a whole surface thereof; a solid electrolytic layer 13 formed on bottom faces of the pits 12H formed in the first active material layer 12 and inner wall surfaces thereof; and a second active material layer 14 formed on the solid electrolytic layer 13. One of the first active material layer 12 and the second active material layer 14 serves as positive electrode-side active material of the solid secondary battery, and the other active material layer serves as a negative electrode-side active material; the first active material layer 12 is not in contact with the second active material layer 14. The solid secondary battery has the solid electrolytic layer 13 between the first active material layer 12 and the second active material layer 14. |
