<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate member attaching device easy to attach/detach a plate member with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The plate member attaching device 1 supports a front panel 14 by panel supports 23 of a base panel 11 and dampers 12. The dampers 12 generate a first-step deformation through a vertical tiny push and, after that, a second-step deformation through a larger push.
