<p>Polymer nanocomposite having: a) a polylactic polymer; and b) a modified phyllosilicate composition having a modifying agent which includes hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium cations which are intercalated between the layers of the phyllosilicate; and preparation process of such a polymer nanocomposite. The polymer nanocomposite is particularly useful for packaging, particularly food and drink packaging.</p> |
