<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly extract the shape of a building from three-dimensional point group data. <P>SOLUTION: The building extraction device: generates an irregular triangular net from the three-dimensional point group data (S12); calculates a normal vector on each triangular net (S13); converts the normal vectors to grids (S14); groups those in the same direction within a predetermined direction range (S15); normalizes the dimension (S15); extracts a contour line of the building from a surface that comprises the grids having the normal vectors parallel to the ground within a predetermined error range (S17 and S18); applies an elevation value to the contour line (S19); and three-dimensionally vectorizes the shape determined by the contour line (S20). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
