Disclosed is a disk brake capable of reducing one-sided wear of a pad during braking. In the disk brake comprising: a carrier fixated and installed on the car body; a caliper housing combined to the carrier to be able to slide; a pair of pad plates mounted on the carrier to be able to slide; and a friction pad which is mounted on the pad plate and brakes of a disk, the disk brake according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a protruding unit which protrudes outward from both sides of the pad plate. The carrier includes a receiving unit on both inner ends to accommodate the protruding unit. Thus, the pad plate is smoothly slid. A rotary prevention unit which is extended and protrudes in a sliding direction and prevents the rotation of the pad plate during braking is placed on the end of the protruding unit. |
