<p>Disclosed is a bipedal walking device having both a large stride and stability, which comprises a right sole (1) and a left sole (3) each having at least three ground contact points; and a right leg (2) that is rotatably connected to the right sole (1) and that extends upward from the right sole (1) and a left leg (4) that is rotatably connected to the left sole (3) and that extends upward from the left sole (3). The sole of a supporting leg and that of a transfer leg are positioned at base portions of two adjacent isosceles triangles of a zigzag plane roller (11), and at the same time, the ground contact point on the front edge of the supporting leg and that on the rear edge of the transfer leg are positioned on one side of an isosceles triangle. In this state, the entire device is rolled about the side in the traveling direction. With this, the isosceles triangles sequentially come into contact with the ground while the zigzag plane roller (11) rolls, thereby the device can walk by sequentially bringing the right sole (1) and the left sole (3) into contact with the ground.</p> |
