<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press bending device for Mg alloy plate, or the like, and a press bending method using the press bending device, capable of, in a case where a metal plate of low ductility such as Mg alloy plate is locally heated for press bending, heating a bending portion locally and capable of easily exchanging a punch or a die (for example, V-shape punch or V-shape die). <P>SOLUTION: A press bending device for a metal plate 1 includes a bending upper die and a bending lower die.
