<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immobilization method of a radioactive substance, capable of suppressing diffusion of the radioactive substance, and an immobilization facility for the radioactive substance. <P>SOLUTION: In the immobilization method of the radioactive substance or the like, the radioactive substance is immobilized inside an adsorbent tank by executing: an adsorbent tank installation step of providing the adsorbent tank housing an adsorbent capable of adsorbing the radioactive substance within a site of a landfill disposal field where the radioactive substance or waste contaminated with the radioactive substance is buried; an adsorption processing step of making the adsorbent inside the adsorbent tank adsorb the radioactive substance included in leachate seeping from the landfill disposal field; and a solidification step of solidifying the adsorbent inside the adsorbent tank after executing the adsorption processing step with cement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
