摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of detecting fluid for a long period of time without contacting the same in an apparatus using a variety of fluid including the apparatus having a portion which becomes tainted by a direct contact with the fluid inside a container regardless of a component material of the container. <P>SOLUTION: A non-contact fluid detection configuration comprises: a drive mechanism 2 to supply power to an inside of a main body 1; a container 3 to store fluid therein; and a fluid detection configuration 9 where a light emitting element 10 emitting light from an upper direction inside the container is arranged opposite to a light receiving element 11 generating a variable electric signal output depending on a light receiving amount. Because existence of the fluid inside the container 3 can be determined by a fluctuation in the electric signal output from the light receiving element 11 for a prescribed determination period in a state that the light emitting element 10 is lit while the drive mechanism 2 is in operation, the present invention can provide the non-contact fluid detection configuration capable of detecting existence of the fluid inside the container 3 directly from the upper direction of the container without contacting the fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
