[Class 40 (ii).] The winding and unwinding spools S2, S1 of a sound film F are arranged coaxially with the vertical spindle A of a gramophone turntable T. The turntable and the spools may operate simultaneously, or may be detachable and operated separately. The spools may be on separate shafts with friction clutches, and the turntable spindle may be clutched by the coupling of the two spool shafts.
