A printer which reduces feeding failure that occurs when a roller (120) is pressed against a sheet of paper by power of a driving source includes: a rotating member (114) which rotates around a first axis; a connecting member (119) which connects with the rotating member (114); a roller (120) which is disposed in the connecting member (119) and rotates around a second axis to transfer a medium; and a support member (130) disposed across from the roller (120), wherein the roller applies a force to the medium based on rotation of the rotating member (114), and the medium is transferred between the roller (120) and the support member (130). |
