PURPOSE:To prevent fagging and remarkably improve a heat-sensitive color developing recording body in heat sensitivity, by dispersing in a binder a phenolic color developer in the form of solid particles compatibilized with an inert organic solid medium having compatibility and a melting point or softening point lower than that of the phenolic color developer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive color developing recording body obtained by dispersing in a binder a phenolic color developer and leuco pigment independently of each other, the phenoli color developer is dispersed in the binder in the form of solid particles compatibilized with an inert organic solid medium having compatibility and a melting point or softening point lower than that of the phenolic color developer. In this case, the organic solid medium is made present in the compatibilized solid particles in an amount of 0.2-250wt% per phenolic color developer. Desirable as the organic solid medium is a higher saturated fatty acid, its metal salt, its amide, its hydrazide, its methylol compound, one selected from its esters, a higher alcohol, oxidized polyethylene wax, natural wax or the like. |
