DISTRIBUTED TURBO ENCODER AND THEREFOR METHOD

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for supporting distributed turbo coding based on a relay network using a noisy network coding method. To this end, the apparatus comprises a relay node for performing an operation as a component encoder, in order to relay a signal transmitted from one source node to a next node by the distributed turbo coding method. The relay node quantizes the signal transmitted from the source node, and then interleaves the same by using a preset pattern to differentiate from a signal outputted from a counterpart node so as to relay the signal transmitted from the source node to the next node based on the noisy network coding method.
