The present invention relates to a method for providing a service through a communications device in which a battery is installed or to/from which the battery is attached/detached. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for providing a service through a communications device in which a battery is installed or to/from which the battery is attached/detached may comprise: a step in which the communications device receives wireless power from an RF reader and performs mutual authentication with the RF reader if the communications device approaches within a certain distance from the RF reader; a step in which the communications device receives a power control signal from the RF reader selectively only if the mutual authentication is successful, wherein the power control signal includes a control signal to allow power of the battery to be supplied to a communications module of the communications device; and a step in which the communications device performs communications with a service providing server containing an embedded service program via a wireless communications terminal. |
