PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system for controlling power saving in facilities of an electric vehicle in regenerative charging by being towed by another vehicle, and a communication device therefor.SOLUTION: When, in a state where regenerative charging is performed in an electric vehicle 2 towed by a towing vehicle 1, a mode establishing request frame 101 is transmitted from a towing ECU 10 by execution of command operation by a crew member (operator) of the towing vehicle 1, the same is transmitted up to in-cabin communication of the electric vehicle 2 by wire communication via a coupling part 3 and a connection 23 (or by wireless communication via wireless communication parts 102, 230) to be received by respective ECUs 24 and 25, etc. Each ECU receiving the request frame performs power saving processing according to the contents of power saving processing 241, 251, etc., stored in a memory. |
