<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost, and to suppress the degradation of display quality. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate having a pixel electrode which is surrounded by a first gate wiring and a second gate wiring extending in a first direction and a first source wiring and a second source wiring extending in a second direction, and equipped with a first main pixel electrode positioned on the first gate wiring side rather than a contact position contacting with a switching element and extending in the first direction, and a second main pixel electrode positioned on the second gate wiring side rather than the contact position and extending in the first direction, and in which a distance from the contact position to the first main pixel electrode in the second direction and a distance from the contact position to the second main pixel electrode in the second direction are same; a second substrate having a main common electrode passing above the contact position, the first gate wiring, and the second gate wiring, and extending in the first direction; and a liquid crystal layer held between the first substrate and the second substrate, and including liquid crystal molecules. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
