[Class 97 (i).] The lamp house of a projector is supported by rods extending between universal joints on the projector base and the lamphouse bracket and adjustable relatively thereto. The joints may comprise split ball-shaped members 9, 16, pierced to receive the rods 8, each ball 9 being held between clamping members 1, 6, secured to the projector base 2 and to one another by bolts 4, 7, and being secured to the rods by pins 9a having heads extending into vertical slots 9c in cupshaped seatings in the members 1. The balls 16 are clamped between cups 11 formed on the lamp-house bracket 12 and members 15, the cups being formed with vertical grooves into which pins 18 on the balls project. The members 15 are held by a bolt 19 and a threaded handle 21 rotatable to relieve the pressure when the rods are adjusted through the balls 16. The projector may comprise a motion head 23 and sound unit 24 pivoted at 26 to a take-up reel housing 25, and the bracket 12 may be adjustable about the pivot by a threaded rod 27 and hand-wheel 28.</p> |
