The present invention relates to a method for replacing a water gate using a blocking device for repairing the water gate of an intake tower to be simply installed inside a water intake tunnel by having a configuration capable of easily discharging water after replacing the water gate while preventing water supply to the water intake tunnel by directly blocking the end of a connecting pipe connecting the water gate and the water intake tunnel without directly installing a structure in the water intake tunnel. The method for replacing a water gate using a blocking device for repairing the water gate of an intake tower includes: a seating surface clearance step (100) of flattening a seating surface (3), which is a wall surface of the water intake tunnel (1) having the connecting pipe (2) while the water gate of the intake tower is completely closed; a cutoff surface obtaining step (200) of obtaining a cutoff surface by spreading mortar and silicon on a part of the flattened seating surface (3) in contact with a cutoff plate (20); a blocking device installing step (300) of installing the blocking device for repairing the water gate of the intake tower; a water gate opening step (400) of opening the water gate to be replaced when the blocking device is completely installed to fill not only the water intake tunnel but also the connecting pipe (2); a water gate replacing step (500) of replacing the water gate by divers entering the water intake tunnel while the water gate is open; an inspection step (700) of checking the pressure of water discharged from a valve, measuring the amount of intake water after a predetermined period of time, and inspecting the water gate in case of a water leak; and a blocking device removing step (800) of closing the water gate and removing the installed blocking device. |
