Disclosed is an image sensor which improves light use efficiency by using a color separation device which changes the progressing path of light according to the wavelength of an incident light, and the color separation device and a color filter together. The color separation device may include at least two transparent bars which face each other by a distance. The at least two transparent bars can arranged in parallel to each other. The color separation device according to the embodiment can easily adjust a diffraction pattern and a color separation angle compared with an existing color separation device which includes a single structure because elements form composite construction.
