Various embodiments respecting a display device and a method of processing content in the display device are disclosed in the present specification. The display device according to the present invention includes: a receiving unit receiving a signal including content; an interface unit receiving a user input; an output unit outputting at least two regions on a screen simultaneously; and a control unit tracking a position of a pointer corresponding to a user action within the screen, controlling menu options including a multi-tasking option to be outputted if the tracked pointer is positioned in a certain area of a second region, controlling sub menu options for multi-tasking if the multi-tasking option is selected from the menu options, and controlling the output unit to reconfigure the screen in response to selection of one among the sub menu options, wherein the control unit controls the first region to have a larger size than the other regions and a fixed aspect ratio and controls the second region to output additional information on the first region or different content from the first region. Thus, the display device may improve the satisfaction of users by fully supporting multi-tasking.
