<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine-driven inverter generator that singly accommodates a wide range from a light load to a heavy load with fuel economy. <P>SOLUTION: A generator 1 includes: input means 7 for inputting various settings and operational instructions for the generator; means for detecting a load side change; and a controller 8 for controlling the speed of an engine 21 on the basis of the input from the input means 7 and the detected load status. The input means 7 includes additional load startup mode start command input means 73 for increasing the engine speed to a predetermined additional load speed. The controller 8 is configured to, in response to receiving a transition command from the additional load startup mode start command input means 73, transition into an additional load startup mode of increasing the speed of the engine 21 to the predetermined additional load startup speed, and after detecting an additional load startup, transition to the normal operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
