A unit for a kitchen sink comprising a sink receiving region 3, a door 7 on the front of the unit positioned at least partially in front of the sink receiving region 3 with a bottom edge attached to the unit by a hinge 9 and a tray 11 mounted on the back of the door 7 which is arranged to occupy a region below the sink receiving region 3. An upper edge of the tray 11 may slope downwards to give a specific distance ration between the hinge point and the front and back of the tray. The tray may have soft close mechanisms 21 and 23 at the top and bottom of its back which press against panels 25 and 27 in the unit when closed. |
