The present invention relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus and a communications system for transferring information under an IMS architecture. In the method for transferring information under an IMS architecture, when a communications system supporting R2 protocol information communicates with a communications system supporting SIP protocol information, conversion may be performed by an IMS system. To prevent user state information from being lost when R2 response information is converted into SIP response information, a response identifier related to a user state is added to the SIP response information, so as to convey a user state of a called end which otherwise cannot be reflected by the SIP response information; and in addition, when the called end supports the SIP protocol, the called end directly generates, after receiving SIP call request information, SIP response information that includes a response identifier, so that a calling end can acquire complete user state information of the called end. |
