<p>Forming, preferably smoothing keratin fibers, preferably human hair, comprises (i) applying a pre-treatment agent comprising amino-functional(s) of silicone(s) with terminal hydroxyl group(s) to the keratin fibers, (ii) non-rising the fibers after a contact time and optionally drying, (iii) treating the fibers with a deformation agent, (iv) optionally rinsing the fibers, and (v) optionally, mechanically deforming the fibers under the influence of heat. An independent claim is included for use of at least one amino-functional silicone having terminal hydroxyl groups for the protection of keratin fibers and for preventing an electrostatic charge and hydrophilization of the keratin-containing fibers, preferably human hair, during forming process.</p> |
