Provided are a method for providing a go-game (Baduk) broadcasting service and a server thereof. A server for broadcasting a Baduk match between two players includes: a representative record storage part which generates and stores a representative record per each stone using previously stored record data; a stone position forecasting part which extracts a representative record related with the stone information by comparing currently proceeding stone information with the representative record per each stone, and forecasts next stone position on the basis of the extracted representative record; and a match information providing part which provides explanation information related with the current match on the basis of the forecasted next stone position. The representative record storage part generates a first record sequence coordinate value as to one or more stones included in a previously established area by referring to a specific stone of the record data, and selects one of a plurality of second record sequence coordinate values as the representative record, where the second record sequence coordinate values are generated by converting the first record sequence coordinate value according to a previously established reference.
