An illumination device comprising: a mounting substrate having an element array comprising 18 LEDs arranged in an array, mounted thereupon; and a light-guide plate arranged facing the mounting substrate. The light-guide plate comprises a light-incident section having a light-incident surface facing the element array. The light-incident surface has an anisotropic diffusion structure that diffuses incident light from the 18 LEDs, in the direction along the element array. |
