PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely activate a charging operation in a vehicle capable of external charging.SOLUTION: In the vehicle 100 in which an energy storage device 110 can be charged by using power transmitted from an external power supply 500 through a charging cable 400, an ECU 300 comprises: a main ECU 310 for implementing a charging control; and a sub ECU 320 for activating the main ECU 310. If the main ECU 310 is while it can implement the charging control, the main ECU initiates the charging control based on a charging start signal IGP from the sub ECU 320. If the main ECU is while it can not implement the charging control, the main ECU outputs an interruption request signal SDU for indicating that the main ECU does not accept the charging start signal IGP to the sub ECU 320. The sub ECU 320 outputs the charging start signal IGP based on a state of the interruption request signal SDU and a state of a pilot signal CPLT from the charging cable 400. |
