<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive unit capable of deriving a ripple current flowing through a DC smoothing capacitor more accurately, and capable of performing appropriate protection control. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive unit comprises: an inverter main circuit configured with a rectifier 5, a DC reactor 6, a DC smoothing capacitor 7, and an inverter 8; DC bus voltage detection means 11 for detecting the DC bus voltage; pulsating voltage detection means 12 for detecting a pulsating voltage; output current detection means 13 for detecting the output current of the inverter main circuit; output frequency correction means 16 for outputting the output frequency of the inverter main circuit while correcting, a power supply frequency detection means 18 for detecting the power supply frequency; output power operation means 17 for operating the inverter output power; a ripple current operation means 14 for operating the ripple current from the pulsating voltage based on the power supply frequency and the inverter output power; and a PWM signal operation unit 10 which sends a drive signal such as the PWM signal to the inverter 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
