<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a routing table set method, preventing the generation of a loop when a routing protocol is operated area-by-area in a multi-area network. <P>SOLUTION: Under an environment in which a plurality of areas, which are subnetworks constituted by links for connecting among a plurality of nodes, exist, when one routing protocol unit, which is included in a node subordinate to the plurality of areas and shares one routing table associated with the entire plurality of areas, tries to set a first route entry to the routing table, when a second route entry to a certain destination node is already set in the routing table by another routing protocol unit, the one routing protocol unit sets the first route entry to the routing table if the route cost of the first route entry is smaller than the route cost of the second route entry. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
