PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a bathtub to be filled with hot water with excellent energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A bath device comprises: a heat medium circulation path through which a heat medium is circulated; a first heat source that can heat the heat medium flowing through the heat medium circulation path; a second heat source that can heat the heat medium flowing through the heat medium circulation path; a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between bathwater and the heat medium flowing through the heat medium circulation path; and a controller that can perform a hot water filling operation for filling a bathtub with hot water at a set temperature by controlling at least the operation of the first heat source, the second heat source, and a hot water supply device. The capacity of the first heat source to heat the heat medium is lower than the capacity of the second heat source to heat the heat medium. Therefore, the hot water filling operation comprises: a first step of causing hot water at a temperature lower than the set temperature to exist in the bathtub; and a second step of operating the first heat source, stopping the operation of the second heat source, and boiling the bathwater existing in the bathtub until it reaches the set temperature. |
