The geo-mechanical changes predicting device (1) has an interface (4) that is arranged for detecting (S1) the forecast environmental data (5) for the environment of the geo-mechanical formation (3). A sensor interface (6) is equipped for detecting (S2) the current geo-mechanical data (7) of the geo-mechanical formation. A prediction device (8) is provided for predicting (S3) the geo-mechanical change (2) in the geo-mechanical formation based on the detected forecast environmental data and/or current geo-mechanical data.
