The method involves inserting an opening (15) into a partial section (L1) of a U-shaped tube (4) by a nozzle device inserted in the tube, where the nozzle device generates a high pressure water jet. A binding agent (17) is introduced in to the tube, and the binding agent is applied into an annular space (8) through the opening of the tube. The binding agent is rinsed from the tube. Temeprature at tube sections (5, 6) are measured, and pressure (P1) and flow rate (Q1) of the binding agent is determined.
