[Class 131] A hair curler and grip comprises a strip 1 provided with one or more pivoted members 4 adapted to grip and hold the curl when made, an offset-part 2 being provided to form a slot 3 to engage the root of the lock of hair prior to it being curled around the member 1. In another form the offset part is replaced by a housing 5 through which passes a prong 9 of a curler rod 7 or curler tube 10. To provide a curl of large diameter the curler tube 10<SP>2</SP> may be 'provided with resilient members 12 engageable in apertures 11, Fig. 8. |
