Provided is an ultrasonic motor which comprises: a vibrator which has a piezoelectric element and a contact surface contacting with a driven member, and drives the driven member by vibrated ultrasonic vibration by the piezoelectric element; a maintaining unit which maintains the vibrator; a pressurizing unit which applies biasing force to bias the maintaining unit toward the driven member to pressurize the contact surface to the driven member; and a fixing unit which supports the pressurizing unit wherein the maintaining unit maintains the vibrator on both sides of the contact surface in a direction of driving the driven member. |
