According to the present invention, a damping force control shock absorber includes a cylinder which is filled with a fluid, and a piston valve to divide the inner side of the cylinder into a compressed chamber and a tension chamber by being combined to a lower end of a piston rod located inside the cylinder. The damping force control shock absorber comprises: a solenoid to move up and down a plunger located inside a lower operating room by the generation of magnetic force by being installed between the piston rod and the piston valve; a first auxiliary flow path connected to the compressed chamber through the piston valve by being formed on the lower side of the operating room; a second auxiliary flow path to connect the upper side of the first auxiliary flow path and the tension chamber and move the fluid of the compressed chamber and the tension chamber in the compression and tension process of the piston rod; and a spool to selectively open and close the second auxiliary flow path by ascending and descending by the driving of the solenoid valve within the first auxiliary flow path. |
