<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient method for recovering glass fiber almost completely from fiber-reinforced plastic at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering glass fiber from fiber-reinforced plastic is characterized in that the fiber-reinforced plastic formed of glass fiber and a polymer covering the glass fiber is brought into contact with semiconductive power at a temperature of 350-500°C in the presence of oxygen to thereby remove the polymer by oxidation decomposition, thus recovering the glass fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
